'10 Promises To My Dog' Movie Screening

Golden Village (GV) together with Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) will be showcasing the Japanese movie "10 Promises To My Dog", which is about how a girl and her puppy were once inseparable but became distant as she grew older.

Proceeds from this special sneak preview will be donated to ASD and each ticket purchase will come with an exclusive movie poster and notebook premium, a fantastic goodie bag from Pet Lovers Centre, great treats from Rein Biotech and a lovely gift from The Body Shop.

真相，看了才能大白

张咏中是新加坡的新进导演，毕业于义安理工学院，上个月《生活》杂志刊登了他的访谈，他对电影的热忱，令我感动。

上个星期五受邀到VivoCity观赏他用了两年半孕育的电影“真相”，觉得诚意十足。如果你肯花一点心思仔细观赏，你会发现这部电影的内容有别于一般的喧哗，它静静地探讨了不少诸如亲情、友情、母爱、世情、自我、虚荣心等矛盾的严谨课题。电影也不忘以幽默的手法，“酸”政府官员的过度自信，看得我们直呼过瘾！

林湘萍虽然初次走上大银幕，但表现不俗，真人也很亲切。最不喜欢它的宣传海报，怎么把林妹妹的漂亮大眼睛给遮了起来？

当然，电影也并非完美，它的情节铺排可以更紧凑，但整体来说，对于第一次拍摄Feature Film的新进导演而言，已经算是达到专业水平，没什么好挑剔的了！

为了促进新加坡电影事业的催生，也为了感受年轻导演的冲劲以及窥探他们对集体记忆的真挚情感，让我们拿出那区区的几块钱，一起走入他们的内在世界，听他们以道地新加坡人的手法说故事吧！

我相信有心的人，会被他的电影触动，而开始思考那些我们常常认为的“理所当然”情境，尔后走出麻木的生活观感，进入思维的浪潮。

Starring Yvonne Lim (林湘萍), Bernard Tan (陈川之）and veteran Liang Tian ( 梁田), this mystery drama is about a girl who ran away from her life in Singapore 10 years ago but now returns as a TV reporter to investigate a mysterious old lady while dodging her own real identity.
